Tell me /g/, is it better to use your laptop without charger and let it rest when connected or straight up connect it and using it after being low?

We started talking with my father about this issue and that sometimes manufacturers don't put care recommendations in their manuals.

I have an HP laptop with a Long-Life 3-Cell 41Wh Lithium-Ion battery that came with a Smart 45W External AC Power Adapter.

The device don't stays charged for so long but I use it always at full potential. i3 coding and browser only use.

It's best to buy laptops that aren't garbage and have a decent BMS so you don't need to worry about this.

>let it rest
The battery have worked hard.
Let it rest for some time to get more energy.
Give it a backrub while it sips some beer in the sunshine.

You can not overwork your battery, it's not your personal slave, Anon!

From what I understand the worst thing you can do is go from 100% to 98% a lot
Modern Apple stuff will let you charge to 80% as a max and occasionally it will go to 100% (like maybe once a quarter) to make sure the calibration doesnโ€™t get fucked up
