>>106099616>>106099518 (OP)I will never understand the cope that people tell that you should be the one using AI instead of fearing it. Like outside of selling their own product to people, what does it achieve? You using AI will make you create AI stuff or AI service, but that AI service can just as well be done by the AI itself. Writing prompts is career path shorter then being left behind, because the only thing you are doing is being a conduit between AI and customer/boss/company system. Why should I pay some shmuck to write image prompts when I can just get an AI agent to do it for them? Its still AI image at the end of the day, and prompt engineering is for the most part just learning how to get output that you personally like and imagined rather then getting something objectively good. And the image thing was just easy to understand example, why pay prompt engineer that does not have some long term experience with the company code to prompt when I can just get agent to do that if I want AI generated code. Same with diagnosis and law stuff, like if the chatbot is better then lawyer and doctor then why bother paying them? When you use AI to do most of your work you lose the skills that make you valuable for the remaining parts of the work, like figuring out edge cases.
Basically prompt trannies are very temporary job since as AI advances it becomes easier and easier to use, and also more autonomous. People who don't use AI will at least last little longer because significant portions of the population are getting more technophobic thanks to AI slop on internet, and especially the younger people.
