If you are looking for a forum which is privacy respecting, you should join Dread. Why are we discussing tech and privacy here or reddit, when we already have a much more privacy respecting alternative?
We have this guy who is shilling hyphanet. But Dread on the tornetwork is private AND easy to use. This is why I believe, this is the solution to the privacy problem or our current times.
It is very easy:
1. Install Tor Browser
2. Type in the .onion link for Dread
3. Create an account on dread and delete it regularly, to create a new account for privacy maximizing
Very easy! And It even works on your phone!

>>106106149You are using 4chan, glowie.
Why you should use Dread:
you dont need to enable js
you dont need a email or anything else to register
your ip doesnt get logged when you register/login
you dont need to Identify yourself to view something on dread
you don't need to be a computer wizard to use Dread, even your grandma can use it
It is the best what we actually have
the captcha thing at the start is crazy annoying and a huge turn off you have to wait and cn't leave the paage because it gets messed up 80% of the time if you do
but otherwise yeah I guess I didn't really have any problems with it actually. cool place
>>106106088 (OP)>DreadThat's just druggies asking if they can mix meth with party drug xy
>>106106088 (OP)What it I'm not a pedophile?
Could I just use something like https://plebbit.com/ ?
There's also a imageboard client https://plebchan.eth.limo/#/ and a reddit clone https://seedit.eth.limo/
> no registration> stlil remembers you> fast enough
>>106106088 (OP)but it's a reddit clone, and idk if people can actually buy drugs from there so meh.
>>106106088 (OP)here's dread:
>how to hack credit card sir? sirs, i want to steal credit card. how do this sir?
>i shot too much meth in my ass....doctor?okay dreaditors, this is gonna be a long one ya'll. I really "boofed" up this time hahaha. But seriously my wife's boyfriends and I were doing meth and.....
>>106108485Literally
It will take a long time for decent communities to coalesce on alternative networks
it's alright, but it's a reddit clone rather than an anonymous imageboard or BBS.
i miss Nanochan
>>106110082this
I saw someone get banned for racism
>>106110126i was referring more to the fact you need to register a username (and i don't remember seeing images on there either). i'm sure the owners of the sub can set whatever rules they want.
>>106108485top fucking kek, goddamn druggies shitting things up as per usual.
>>106112659Isnโt it always? Iโm only familiar because I used to buy benzos on the dark web. They almost killed me.
Just tried to ask a question in the opsec board. I asked about chinese services (Deepseek, Qwen, Wechat etc.) from a privacy perspective, since all data is stored on chinese servers. They have hidden my thread. I think this place isn't that good, if you aren't allow to discuss certain topics.
>1min captcha>constantly ddosed to hell>saar how to be a 1337 haxor like mr robot>[stupid question repeated for the 1k time]>BREAKING! >>106108485And TOR is a honeypot, use I2P.
But tbqh, it has some basic knowledge in the megathread if you're illiterate.
>>106114675Yes obviously, it's a darknet TOR forum, that's what OP don't understand.
So ignoring forums shit up by drug addicts anally shooting up meth into their haemorrhoids, are there any places with any real amount of traffic?
>>106115209Not really. I mean you go there to get links.
For any feds wondering, itโs a just a link hub you fucking glowniggers
Plebbit is pure peer-to-peer social media protocol, it has no central servers, no global admins, and no way shut down communities-meaning true censorship resistance.
Unlike federated platforms, like lemmy and Mastedon, there are no instances or servers to rely on
this project was created due to wanting to give control of communication and data back to the people.
Plebbit only hosts text. Images from google and other sites can be linked/embedded in posts. .
ENS domain are used to name communities.
Plebbit currently offers different UIs. Old reddit UI and new reddit, 4chan, and have a Blog. Plebbit intend to have an app, internet archive, wiki and twitter and Dread UI etc... Choice is important. The backend/communities are shared across clients.
anyone can contribute, build their own client, and shape the ecosystem

>>106115770bookmarked for when the ID laws come in here

>>106107037interesting. what's with the cryptocurrencty stuff though if the service doesn't actually run on a blockchain? and how does it prevent spam?
>>106119485the protocol doesn't require any tokens or cryptocurrency to use, but cryptocurrency has legitimate use cases for a fully p2p social media, it can be used for p2p censorship resistant tipping and as a spam resistance mechanism for several things, for example let's say you want to have an optional human readable name system, like yourname.plebbit, you need to limit the amount of registrations or one person can register all the names first. to do this without a central issuer that can censor, the only way is to use a cryptocurrency, and it doesn't have to make the creator rich like other crypto scams, the profits could simply be burned automatically. not all crypto is a scam, for example monero is not.
