Is there seriously anything I can do to stop this goddamn annoying whine. I got an AIO GPU specifically because fans do my head in but now all I hear is this dickhead screeching. New PSU? Any settings? Wtf man.

Card model? PSU model? Did you undervolt? Changing my PSU and undervolting fixed my coil whine completely.

put your gpu in the case, close the case, turn your case to a different side or away from you
or increase minimum fan rpm until you dont hear it

this is only a problem with brown zoomers that NEED to see their RGB RAM that is only visible on one side or sois that dont have HDDs which already establish a minimum loudness within the pc case, drowning out the coil whine

Drill a hole in the house, put in separate room.

I have never had any audible coil whine during normal use, I've only heard some when a game was running at like 5000FPS uncapped in a menu or something, and I'm not entirely sure why that causes coil whine in particular. Any coil whine you get during normal use should be inaudible if you have your computer in a closed case and don't have the case right up to your ear, so the fact that you're hearing it suggests you're doing something wrong. Or maybe you're just extraordinarily sensitive I guess.

Put your case on the floor next to your desk and don't run it open. That should be enough distance and obstruction to make coil whine inaudible from your sitting position.

drown the component in water to prevent the noise

There's no escape. 15 years ago shit was made better and coil whine was much less common. Now everything is cheap and you are almost guaranteed to hear coil whine on anything larger than a cell phone. My computer emits a scraping sound when scrolling up and down webpages.

You guys assume I use a standard pc case when it's not. It's a semi open air one by cougar. Noticed changing the monitor's refresh from 165 to 140 significantly reduces it tho. Also good shout about undervolting. Might look at that.
