As more draconian internet laws and censorship are rolling out, it's become increasingly clear that Monero is the currency of the future.
It allows "problematic" sites to get funded (because there's no (((tribe))) owned bank to authorize it), while also maintaining private transactions so that users won't get into hot water with the authorities for any transaction deemed unlawful by gov, which inevitably will be extended to VPNs.

Are you ready for the Monero golden age?

Use decentralized platforms and a non-custodial wallet. Plenty of open source solutions.

Are there any sites and forums with people who want to help each other "anonymously" buy Monero.

As in
>connect through throwaway mails with PGP.
>Exchange "anonymous" wallets (all wallets mentioned are non custodial).
>Person one buys and sends X amount of monero through their KYC exchange wallet (routed through another anonymous wallet) to the anonymous wallet of the other party.
>Person two buys and sends X+Y amount of monero through their KYC exchange wallet, which they buy (routed through another anonymous wallet) to the anonymous wallet of the first person, agreeing to eat some cost for plausible deniability.
>Destroy contacts
>Do multiple times for small sums spaced randomly in time.

Asking for a friend. He'll be happy to be the one eating the (small)cost all the time, and get scammed on multiple small transactions if the other party doesn't pay.

I've seen some sites where you can pay someone's bills and in return they give you Monero. I'd just rather trade through something like Bisq though.

That doesn't work because then you link something identifiable from your end (Your fiat transaction) to something identifiable on their end (the bill). The method I want to exchange with is just two people buying and seemingly randomly sending XMR into the void with no indication they sent it to each other.

>Bisq
Promising. Thank you.
