Encrypted DMR, shortwave HF NVIS
I’d try to get neighbors aboard to pool and protect resources, i.e. prevent people from dumping human waste into the same creek you’re trying to get potable water from

Currently, nothing except for guns and ammo since I'm a brokie.

But assuming I have more time to get more money:

Aforementioned guns and ammo
Ammo cans (if I have a shelter)
Satellite communicator radio
Hatchet
Various hazmat suits of different levels with respirators
Oxygen tanks and concentrator with filter if possible (assuming I have a shelter)
Bullet resistant vests or plates and plate carrier
Tent
Bucket
Sanitation wipes
First aid kit
Some basic OTC painkillers
Water purifier bottle
Bungee cord
Flint and steel and rainproof match set
Solar generator and small solar power bank
Low power rasp pi or similar with some basic software coded on
Compass

Just to name a few

>food
I make MRE-like packs I keep in my truck. They're not fun to eat but I can store two weeks worth in a duffel bag. You get sick of them after a few days though.
>water
Sawyer filter and two scepter 5gal cans. One for drinking water one for water to be filtered.
>shelter
My truck and some camping gear. I can go almost anywhere with it and I've tested the limits of what it and I can do. I keep 10 extra gallons of gas in jerry cans just in case.
I need a better radio setup and something better for defense other than a 9mm pistol. My city is gonna get eaten alive if shtf and I plan on leaving before then.

india is basically a post apocalyptic wasteland with lots of "thriving" ""humans""
so its a good case study on survival after collapse of all advanced systems
