UI wise what's better? reading manga in continuous vertical or single page?

Manga? Depends, occasionally you will need/want to view two pages side-by-side, as you would in a physical manga.
For manhwa, continuous vertical is a must. Korean and Chinese manhwa artists love stretching shit beyond page boundaries.

I made my own viewer for that. you can quickly make that with electron, actually a good use case for electron app, just load the images and make a few css for the views you like.

double page is needed for seamless page spreads in most modern digital manga
i prefer continous scrolling

meh.. physical manga is nice. Unless you've really worked the binding of it; it is harder to appreciate the double page prints.

My totally personal argument against physical manga is personal, wastes far too much of my bookshelf space. Same with lightnovels which I just get as epubs on a kindle.
