Drivers work for the most part on both parties. They each have their own list of stupid, stupid issues. Most of the CTD/BSOD issues are actually idiots overclocking their systems (CPU, system memory or GPU itself). Pretending that overclocking is risk is free. Just because your CPU passes Prime95/Linpack for 24-hours doesn't mean it is 100% stable. It can still shit itself with executing certain code.

I had no problems like this.
I also miss AMD. I'm going back to AMD.

Buddy of mine has a fuckton of issues with his 5070ti and drivers crashing.
I'm on a 4080 and running some year old+ driver without any issues.

All these people bitching about drivers and I haven't had a single issue with my 4080. Well, technically the first one I got was defective, and I had to RMA it. But the new in box replacement Nvidia sent me hasn't had a single problem in the two and half years I've been using it.

I have 25.2.1 on my laptop and adrenalin only allows to automatically download, not install graphics drivers. Let alone chipset drivers, I always have to download those manually. The only other option I have is to check for either recommended or recommended + optional updates.

Well fuck me, I just updated it and yes it does manage chipset drivers now. This is a very recent change.

Nvidia drivers began degenerating into slop from the unsigned version of Forceware 94.94 onwards.

i must have special computers because I don't suffer with driver issues on any of them
