if the computational result of quantum computing beat the input time by a nanosecond would it technically be possible to chain a million of them and send messages to the past?

All messages you see are in the past. You are in the past, OP. You died years ago and are being forced to relive your experiences but are unable to change anything about what will happen to you, and everything you see already happened years ago.

the chip is literally right in the middle of the frame? first off, secondly its not coolers as much as it is thermally isolated wires. but yes they make it look gay so that it confuses retards

third, they are only able to read quantum computers remotely, thats why there is so much thermal isolation, because they literally have put an external sensor array on the chip to even know if they're doing anything useful. thats why you can see the bare die and why its front and center

it is all bullshit but yall probably couldn't even begin to imagine why, defintely not a scam they have a purpose for what they're doing but ultimately the whole computing big numbers thing is a meme. however there are a LOT of things you'd want qbits for in terms of... lets say... system integration

You may be right, I'm not interested enough to verify your claims.
It's also right to say that there is no practical application of quantum computing today, and there is no certainty that there will appear a practical application in the future.

Even "AI", with all its faults, already has practical applications in various domains, especially domains related to cooming.

i love it when people act like quantum computers are real cuz it reminds me of how people probably thought that way about the first computer. they saw that shit and was like "yeah right" and now we can't even operate society without them lmao. i love seeing people get proven wrong over and over again without adapting.

Nah, quantum computers are nothing like the first computer. People were counting pebbles and using logic long before the first computer, so when it came about no one batted an eye. Quantum computers promise bullshit brain damaged fantasy like OP's claim of sending messages to the past or answering every question instantly and only displaying the correct answer. Nice try, though.

that's not even close to what they promise. they provide a means to solving problems with far more manageable time complexities compared to classical counterparts. I can see the benefits beyond the hysterics. you just sound like the people who thought computers were the big robots that would kill everyone. hell you sound like people that say that shit about ai. read a book sometimes it'll do you wonders.

Time travel probably doesn't exist in any form...
And nobody thinks about the fact that if you did travel in time forwards or backwards, you also have to travel through space since the earth is rotating on it's axis going around the sun, the sun is moving through the galaxy, and the galaxy is also moving.
Time travel is probably theoretical physics slop only, but if it is real you also have to get over that massive hurdle.

>Quantum computers use quantum bits. This means they can be in multiple states at once. These bits, called โ€œqubits,โ€ are of a different nature altogether. Because they are in multiple states at the same time, they can calculate an enormous number of outcomes at once, allowing for a vastly greater probabilistic computation.
Fuck off, stupid lying faggot.

in theory sure. not in practice.
heres the thing, about a hundred years ago physicists had already worked out everything they could see and started to try working out stuff about what they couldn't see. the problem is they couldn't see it. so all the formulas they come up with aren't great. so then a bunch of other physicists looked at the forumlas and said oh ok well the equation allows us to do this. except it doesn't work in reality because the equation wasn't real. it was an abstraction of reality. it has no real resemblence to the real world. so there is no certainty that any of this stuff that they are talking about is real or will work.
ok well i'm a schizo retard right well maybe, but billions of dollars have been spent on quantum computing over the past few decades and nobody has ever demonstrated a single working example. so whos the schizo now.
quantum physicists playing with oscillating superconductors at zero kelvin are no better than tesla obsessed scam artists on youtube making videos about over unity machines made from magnets and spinning discs.

Confirmed retarded, this doesn't even quality as bait you just seem utterly braindead.
If a working and operatable quantum computing system of sufficient power was dropped into the world right now trillions dollars of financial damage/shakeup would happen instantly due to security concerns alone.
Outside of that if its applicable to any AI system and works with biological simulations and such it would find a cure for a shitload of prominent diseases and health conditions extremely fast.

>if AI
Here's the thing: after countless billions spent and a huge pile of papers/patents published, there have been no practical uses identified.
Zero problems have been solved with qubits to date.
We are as close to a useful quantum computer as we are to AGI, which is to say: very fucking far. We'll probably travel outside our solar system before the first useful quantum computer becomes operational.
