>be me
>chad AMOLED enjoyer
>read all my books on my phone like a normal human
>no bulky slabs
>no fragile Kindle with grandma-tier refresh rate
>no boomer-tier paper bricks
>OLED blacks deeper than your soul
>text so sharp it cuts through Hemingway’s ego
>Kindlefags crying about “muh e-ink” while their page refreshes like it’s 2006
>“but it looks like real paper”
>yeah and it handles like a calculator from Soviet Russia
>have to shine a flashlight on it or pray for a backlit model
>meanwhile I'm in bed, dark mode, font cranked, battery sipping like wine
>“but muh eye strain”
>get a better phone and stop using it at 3000 nits, retard
>scroll through 800-page PDFs like I’m Neo in the Matrix
>OCR? Already done.
>Night light filter? Baked in.
>Custom fonts, spacing, margins? All mine.
>One hand. 3000 books. Zero Bezos.
>still waiting for a Kindle user to explain why they tolerate that slow, low-res, laggy piece of trash
>they can’t
>because they’re weak
>OLED gang reigns supreme

You need a high refresh rate on pages of text?
You must read really fast

High refresh rate for text?
Yeah, I read fast enough to keep up with my own brain, not like Kindle users stuck at 1 page per minute.
Try scrolling through 1000 pages in one sitting without feeling like you’re time traveling back to 2008.
But sure, keep hugging your slow-refreshing e-ink bricks while I breeze through my library.

My ereader's like 7 years old and can play fmv decently, refresh rate hasn't been an issue in a long tome
