I was just looking at my crawler that has been scanning a few ranges of USA addresses and I set it for common HTTP open ports and I was just looking for some things that people had up, many personal pictures and other various media. But I hit an absolute database of child pornography. Every single directory on that server contained a very catalogued (by age, race, hair color, eye color and what I assume is another category called yay? it was everywhere and I don't know if it's some meme or does it have a meaning) array of pictures. There are many of what looks like stalking pictures but there are also so many nude photos of little girls and also many videos in each of these directories. I don't know what to think about this, it was obviously someone's personal machine since it was just a basic HTTP server. I have no way of contacting this person to tell them that this is something that probably shouldn't touch the public side of the internet. How do I get in contact with this person, there are no other ports open, no router nor any ssh port that I can try bruteforcing, there is however a, what I assume (by the traffic) is a bittorrent, could be a client or a tracker. I don't know much about torrents but chatgpt told me that it has something to do with torrents. I have the IP address only pretty much. Should I do something about this or just pretend I never saw this mountain of little girls just waiting there to be found by another brave traveler?
picrel only for a meaningless picture placeholder, these are not the ranges of the server in question.
