NSA
md5: 8de68d603cc149201cfeb1634201c327๐Ÿ”
It's a honeypot guaranteed. The NSA has full access backdoor since they run the nodes and the developers have been corrupted and bought out.

They can pinpoint your location exactly with time as shown by the case of eldo kim who made a bomb threat. They were easily able to find him. The proof wasn't shocking that they found him because he was the only tor user at the campus at that moment. The shocking part is the US gov probably runs multiple hundreds if not thousands of nodes at least over half of the network probably and they all log IP's.

So IDK if we will ever be able to leave the clearnet plantation.

I2P is garbage, freenet is garbage. We are all slaves to the clearnet glownigger plantation.

So there's.. none? You just gave a rational explanation for now it's not a backdoor: The system doesn't work unless you blend with other peers.

Tor is backdoored.
The feds run all the nodes and they are all logging continuously.

If someone can't use tor without a VPN anywhere in the world to avoid censorship is backdoored and glows 100%. There's zero reason why eldo kim should've been arrested if the TOR network was safe.

It is backdoored and compromised.

It glows, It's backdoored.

>he doesn't think the NSA doesn't have access to entire cities worth of data from ISP on who is using TOR at specific times in specific areas

They would've been getting the logs from everywhere and they also run the nodes. It's backdoored. If he went to a starbucks they would've just found the closest one, got the logs from the ISP and then matched that with camera footage

They will just find your ISP and see who was using tor within that city at 12am and they can narrow it down.

They will just find out who's a citizen and narrow it down even if hundreds of other people in the city are using tor(unlikely). In an average city in america maybe 10-50 people at any time are using tor. It's not that many to sift through.

it's backdoored.

How come not even the vendors are getting deanonymized when they take down one every now and then? And because I know how you'll cope I'll just say this I'm sure they won't expose themselves for a drug bust but to oust some faggot trying a bomb threat to get finals cancelled. Nice story bro.

All they need is one address and a location of a city and they can find you.

TOR users are not a big of a userbase as you think and the NSA runs over half at least 2500 nodes.

You really thought a government that spends hundreds of billions, over a trillion can't setup tor nodes by the thousands in all parts of the world, countries, military bases etc.

It would only cost a couple ten million, pocket change.

I saw some people asking why they would use phpBB for their forum. The answer is that's normal for darknet websites and even for darkweb CP forums.

Page 6 (357) of this research paper even says most CSAM forums use phpBB:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/372486835_Child_sexual_abuse_material_on_the_darknet
>Darknet CSAM forums are mainly built on open-source code, like phpbb, with some users with coding skills creating similar open-source forum coding, which readily caters to online offending communities.
Here's a image from that paper:
https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Actual-child-sexual-abuse-material-forum-landing-page_fig2_372486835

Here's some other examples of screenshots of CSAM websites using similar forum software:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boystown_(website)
https://www.vg.no/spesial/2017/undercover-darkweb/?lang=en

I've seen other news articles that have screenshots of CP forums using phpBB, but I dont have the links to the articles at the moment.

>To identify the perpetrators, police used a correlation analysis attack against the Ricochet chat protocol which was used by Boystown admins and operates on the Tor network. By sending Ricochet messages to perpetrators and monitoring several hundred Tor nodes for simultaneous traffic of the correct size, authorities were able to piece together the chain of Tor nodes used and the perpetrator's entry node, which then revealed the perpetrators' IP addresses.[4]

How does one protect against this?

It doesn't really matter if it is a honeypot or not. If you are using MacOS or Windows, which most people are, then your machine is already subject to remote client-side scanning by Apple and Microsoft. It doesn't mater how many tricks you use to anonymize and encrypt your traffic if the data comes to rest on a system that can be rifle through at will by third-parties.
