So what's the catch? I used to believe in the le free west vs. evil 1984 china argument but that obviously is starting to vanish with the new laws. Not saying I like the ccp or anything but why tf would I root for our stasi overlords either?
A big electronics chain in my country recently got bought by chinese investors and all the german redditors freak out about this. But I'm actually looking forward to what they do here. Maybe then going shopping would actually be worth it instead of using amazon or temu.
