I use find my iphone with my niece to ensure everyone is home before locking the door for the night. A few times this month I have been out somewhere and my niece check my location and it shows that I am at home when I am not. I've gotten locked out twice now because of this. Just last night, my niece checked my location at 9pm and it showed I was out. At 12am, she checked my location and it said I was home but I was still out at the same place I was at 3 hours earlier. I can't figure out an explanation for this, but I was thinking its possible that my computer's location is getting used at times when my phone can't get service? I can'tf ind any solutions to this issue. Any advice?
