Buy decent ones then, mongoloid The only real problem is that a lot of them overheat and you need to do some ghetto ass heatsinking to keep them alive for as long as possible

Because you're buying them from Amazon for $0.73 per unit.

Flickering light isn't "real" light, which is produced by heat and/or flame. LED lighting is satanic.
What are some respectable brands with high CRI ? Don't say OSRAM because it's the worst light I've ever seen despite being advertised as >90 CRI

Dumb thread. LEDs range from super dim tiny lights all the way up to giant megabright flood light arrays. If the ones you got are too dim, just get brighter ones.

>/g/ unironically defends LED bulbs for comfort lighting
>>106143520 The dimmest lights on the market, the brightest lights on the market, the lowest color temperature lights on the market, and the highest color temperature lights on the market are all LEDs. If you intrinsically refuse to buy LED lights, it is an indication that you are 60 IQ subhuman incapable of performing the most basic or research, and are therefore incompatible with modern society, and thus should be euthanized.
>>106143673 It's not about brightness, color temperature, efficiency, or whatever advantage you shills want to bring up. It's about unnatural, flickering light vs natural light.
I don't disagree LEDs are good for industry, or car signals, or that sort of thing. But trying to make fake, flickering light work for comfort lighting is retarded, simple as.
>why do LED bulbs suck such massive cock? Because using LEDs to save electricity is like not flushing the toilet trying to save water

Has Big LED actually been able to fund LED shillbots even here? I have trouble believing the average anon is as bluepilled on LEDs as this thread would indicate.
>>106143884 >utterly destroy domestic light bulb manufacturing forever to have cheap LED bulbs from china to save $20 a year on electricity Wow so wise

>>106143961 All LEDs produce light by flickering, this is how they are so much more efficient, but even if this flickering is too fast to be perceived, it is still incredibly unnatural and likely even harmful.
>>106144110 LEDfags hate nature, they make all their bulbs in one of the most environmentally destructive states (China), their flickering garbage is 10x brighter than it needs to be and they are all going blind because of it
>>106144225 >their flickering garbage is 10x brighter than it needs to be Seriously though, why the fuck is everything so bright? Every once in a while I like to visit my grandparents in rural LA and when the moon's on the fuller side shit's pretty easy to see all around me at night, meanwhile back in the city the average street light is frying my eyes off
