Linux is a lot less bullshit in general if you're not using windows-only software. There's a lot of specific things you need to learn to navigate windows and have it not be a crock of shit:
>need to obtain/install/license win10 IoT LTSC
>need to know to disconnect from the internet to avoid linking a microsoft account to local
>need to know that winget is the only package manager worth a shit
>need to install powertoys if you want to software remap any keys on your keyboard
>need some autohotkey shit if you want alt+backtick to cycle between windows of the same application
>linux has better utilities out of the box for common tasks like reading PDFs, viewing images

etc etc, it's honestly reached the point where linux is less work than windows to get into a reasonable state but the big problem is, it just doesn't have the pro-quality windows/macos exclusive software that people actually put up with those OSes for in the first place
