Do you have microsoft products you can't stop using. For me it's these two. I installed linux on all my computers and use libreoffice, but I haven't found anything better than outlook and c#.
Also for outlook, I'm not using their desktop client so don't come at me for that. I like it because of the generous cloud storage limits.

Thunderbird is also malware like all other Mozilla software and probably has a million features like chat clients and add-on store that OP will never use. If you need a GUI, use Claws-Mail instead, since even Betterbird is not entirely de-mozilla-ed.
