I watch art tutorials, cryptozoology videos, random cool technology stuff, recipes, nutritional science, and yeah, cute animals doing cute things. There's actually a ton of interesting stuff on Youtube if you're take some time to look beyond the normie curtain.

Most stuff on Odysee falls under
1) Stuff/people that got taken down on YouTube, or would get taken down there
2) Stuff that's also on YouTube and can be watched there without Odysee's weird-ass issues
I still use it, but it's one of the things I mostly just use because I want it to exist rather than using it because it's actually good. It keeps stuff from completely vanishing when YouTube removes it and give it credit for that.

I tried Odysee some years ago. You had to use their discontinued crypto to turn on NSFW content. Is this still a problem?

The problem with Odysee is that people just mirror their YouTube videos instead of uploading the uncensored ones without ad interruptions. If I wanted to be irritated by lunacy like "corn star" or "spicy model" and "today's sponsor..." I can just watch on YouTube with SponsorBlock that skips all that shit. Odysee should get in touch with the SponsorBlock devs.
