The old multi-arch libs don't work anymore.

So it needs to be hacked together to support 16 bit binaries.

I agree, it sucks to drop support of anything just because Windows doesn't do it. Why not just use Windows then? The "It gives us a lot of additional work to support it" excuse would be valid, but not that stupid "Trannies cut their dick off so we'll do the same".
