Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I just started using ComfyUI for Wan2.1 and I keep getting this error repeatedly while trying to use SageAttention

"Error running sage attention: SM89 kernel is not available. Make sure you GPUs with compute capability 8.9., using pytorch attention instead."

I'm using a 5070TI
Driver: 572.60

I used the ComfyUI Easy Installer and also used the SageAttention bat file that said it installed that and Triton, I don't really know what to do, has anyone had this issue? I got the installer from here

i've been having same issue with rtx 5070 ti cu128 after updating pytorch to very recent update ( > 20250401+cu128). downgrading fixed it. i think sage attention not doing well with the latest pytorch nightly update

I confirmed the torch 2.7.0 not work for my 5080 (blackwell), This problem come back after my post caused by comfyui update who donwgrade my system to torch 2.7.0 and the problem "SM89 kernel is not available" come back

for me the pre torch version 2.8.0 solved this problem

torchaudio 2.6.0.dev20250429+cu128
torchvision 0.22.0.dev20250429+cu128

for update torch on nighly version you can execute this command line.

I'm not gonna lie. I feel really behind on the whole image generation front. I'm still using flux because honestly it just does natural language comprehension and text generation in the image so coherently. That and the fact that I'm basically stuck on an 8 gigabyte VRAM GPU, So I'm just assuming, based on the chatter here, that the newer image generation models aren't going to work on my hardware.anyway. and I don't like comfyui

flux is still pretty good. chroma is build of of flux and fits mostly the same cards, though its generally slower. a nice thing about chroma though is it only needs one encoder so you dont have to do the t5+clip thing you do with flux
