Why don't we get more retro stuff like monitors? Just give us a 4:3 something that resembles CRT, maybe with a filter. Even PCs are kinda rare despite the fact that we can emulate Win98 with softgpu. Meanwhile, some people emulate cable TV.
>>106163014 Oh yeah but that's literally it and that's way too expensive (why is it even that expensive?). Why can't we have a dirt cheap max 1024x768 res IPS with CRT shape and maybe builtin shader?
>>106163046 It's not a product that will sell in the millions and there probably aren't enough producers of such panels. The cheapest way is a bit of DIY with old iPad screens and controller boards. The main issue I've seen is the scalers used in some of those boards are utter crap, and they can't sync to some outputs.
>>106161357 (OP) I remember back around 2015, I'd see one of these dogshits tossed out onto the street corners so that people can make room for AIOs, 2-in-1s, or new laptops. Get rid of that crap and get with the times already, old man millennial!
