I use Strawberry. After using it for some time, I think I prefer it to MusicBee. The UI isn't as slick, but it does everything I need it to do.

It runs like shit in wine. But if you want the closest thing to it on linux that would be quod libet. Is it as good ? No, but it's good enough to switch to it and not feel like you're using prehistoric software. Believe me I tried them all. One of the things that made me delete my wangblows partition.

I mostly know what I want to listen to so I don't need tagging etc, but just for the rare cases when I do need a continuous playback of automatically selected music (i.e. smart playlists?) I'm planning to self-host a web radio (icecast) on a raspberry
