I basically never rewatch videos but it still occasionally recommends me something I've seen already

The one that really makes no sense to me is when it recommends me the same video 20 times in a row. I didn't click on it the first 10 times it showed up, so why does it keep trying? For channels that I watch a lot, it will pick some random video from their back catalog and recommend that video over and over, even though there are literally hundreds more it could rotate through

The nerve of them thinking that people might listen to a song more than once instead of forgetting about it and moving on to another song.

It's intentional, they'll reccomend you a bunch of bullshit for every every good video to make browsing more addicting, it's basically the same principal as gambling, where they try to keep you chasing the high, even if you actually lose most of the time.

I don't know why ppl just look for pointless arguments on the internet. How sad could their lives be to waste time like that? Obviously, ppl listen to songs more than once, they get bored too at some point so it's stupid to recommend the same stuff for the umpeenth time instead of something new

It's Google's new tactic. The worse search results and recommendations it gives to you - the longer you stay on their websites - the more money they make from ads.
