I still hate C++ for being absolutely terrible about FFI.
>I want to use a class for its intended purpose of messaging between two C++ applications.
>Well that's simple just copy the source file and header for the message format into both applications or suffer
I hate converting classes into C just because Bjarne couldn't be bothered to make FFI work for C++. It would be so nice just to reference a shared library for both instances.

Well Bjarne must have been pain pilled and suffer maxing, because he collectivised it to everyone that made the mistake of using C++.

You wrote a hundred characters to do the job of 3. C++ is just COBOL for retarded millenials.

technically it works but it's better to pass by value unless if it's a large object that is too expensive to copy

maybe, if you have a T that is bigger than a pointer and/or you want to avoid making a copy.

Except C++ uses far less characters than the C solution, which would have Addi, Addui, Addl, Addul, Addf, ... Etc. to cover all the different types
