For the first time ever, Safari is actually usable on MacOS. Might actually tempt me away from being a Brave Chad since Safari syncs all your shit with your iPhone.

what's the use case for Safari? I am on a macbook but never use this browser. for regular browsing I use firefox and for development chrome. I really don't know why I should use Safari. even on my iphone I don't use it. and btw here's the link to the appstore: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ublock-origin-lite/id6745342698

>>106165384 >if they made it so extensions could operate without having to remember to open the associated program it would be nice it can still function (e.g. blocking ads on pages you visit), but adguard for example can't do shit in the background without the app open, even if the window is closed (you can still see it on the top bar). I think this is a good thing because if I quit something on macos, I know it has fucking quit.

>>106165083 uBlock Origin LITE came to safari, not uBlock Origin. The difference between lite and normal is that lite still allows requests to go through, but blocks the elements for ads. It has no impact on trackers.
