Why are they unable to manufacture technology?

Europe and China are driving all the innovation in actually manufacturing technology. And all the people doing actual work in the US are Chinese or Indian. American tech companies like Microsoft and Facebook are parasitic companies that add zero actual value. Americans are dead weight.

Corruption (endless impact surveys - aka bribes - you have to navigate to build any physical infrastructure).

Too much low end labor making that work dogshit and inefficient (at least we're not Britain who has fewer automatic car washes than 20 years ago). Germany has more industrial robots per capita.

Incentives. The best money and WLB are outside manufacturing. There's a reason people haze themselves through school and entry-level positions to get in.

They can. After Steve jobs visited japan, he wanted the same kind of factory in USA for the apple 2. He did it with success in less than a year.

The US was in a mini-manufacturing boom in the Biden years. Then for flimsy, idiosyncratic reasons, Trump decided to make their inputs more expensive.

Lmao both Intel and tsmc are getting their tech from Dutch ASML but somehow Intel failed and crashed.

They can, just not as cheaply/efficiently as East Asians. East Asians truly are the world's peak manufacturing race. It's just how they are. Industrious and detail oriented, tunnel visioned.

America is like the Mario nationality they can do everything they're just not the best at some things.

Ftfy. Europe is irrelevant. We have entered into the Chinese century. I look forward to my inexpensive Chinese robowaifu who gives me an Olympic level handjob while explaining Xi Jinping Thought.

manufacturing is too low margin (unless its pharma manufacturing where they can charge whatever assraping prices they want.)

better to focus on fake niggerlicious stuff like """big tech""" cloud services, data sales scams, etc. because it can be scaled infinitely for basically no additional cost and there's a lot of money to be made with state/local/fed government contract$.

China will have to recreate ASML before we can enter into the Chinese century. They also have to stop all their scientists and engineers from moving from China.

Unwilling, not unable. China steals or buys the USAs engineer plans and no one wants iPhones that cost 20k

They used to be the best at it. Then, their culture and spirit degenerated, (because of elite vampires wanting to turn everybody into their subhuman slaves) just as it had happened to the Europeans, and they lost the will to do it. You wanna make America great again? Guillotines.

Too expensive. Too much red tape. Companies would rather manufacture in a country with no unions and where workers don't ask for a minimum wage plus benefits.

American guns are shit, though.
Ask Ukrainians, who lost every single battle ever since they started to exclusively use American guns.

somehow Intel survived longer than Europe (well, until 2026)
somehow Micron survived longer than Europe
but ultimately the short-sighted immigrant importing states will always be out competed by long term planning states

innovation is not the goal. capital is.
in the next 2 decades, the (((capital))) itself will find a new home.
it finds a new home every century or two. so this is nothing new.

Home manufacturing is bad for dominant trade nations.
Less resources are able to be hoarded if manufacturing isn't coming from another economic zone.

human labor costs 3x in the us. its not they can't do tech, they just don't wanna pay so much to create it.
