Am I turning into a boomer or does writing systems design with pen and paper first make programming a lot faster on bigger projects?
You disguise a statement as a question because you are insecure and incompetent
Not really, because being able to write it down clearly for yourself is like half the design battle. Or something like that is how the quote goes, my wigger. But absolutely fuck going back to paper tho.
>>106176216 (OP)I like to think writing like this or even using an epen for drawing activates more of the brain and enhances creativity so i'd keep it up though you won't want to lose your abilities with keyboard mouse.
>>106176216 (OP)When I do gamedev, I brainstorm a bunch of shit out on paper and then try to convert it into to-do list or draw flowcharts. Sometimes I draw the layout of a UI on paper. I typically have stacks of printer paper all over the place.
i use a drawing tablet for diagrams, but typing is much better for notes
It’s been proven time and time again pen and paper is better for organizing thoughts and memory retention. It takes longer so you have to stare at it more. Do whatever keeps you paid
>>106176216 (OP)you don't "turn into" a boomer. baby boomer is a specific generation, it's not a synonym for "old" just like zoomer isnt a synonym for "young"
