We all know SoCs, soldered RAM and soldered SSDs are the future. The latter two because all manufacturers and retailers want planned obsolescence. Do you think the EU could at least mandate replaceable storage in laptops like how they're mandating replaceable batteries in laptops by 2027?

EU is just way too slow and controlled by politicians who are either evil or dont know what they are doing. Dont expect them to know what RAM is or what STDs has to do with computers until they themselves have issues with soldering of what-should-be easily replaceable components, if they even can recognize the issue instead of just buying a new laptop.
