So why is NVIDIA releasing a 5080 Super which is exactly the same as the 5080 but with more VRAM? Is VRAM this important? what's the deal here?

I have a 1660 Super and want to update. So im hoping they at least do further revision and fine tunning so I can buy it on the release date and not gamble with running out of stock.

I need it to use on shitty animation software like SFM, I just need more raw power and hope to get more FPS.

Also I have a RMx 750W. Should I pick a 1000W one? I don't want a random spike while rendering.

The rest is an 3950X and Aorus Pro x570 with 970 Evo Pro. Not bothering with updating anything else for now.
