Will my Strix OC 4090 fit in there?

yeah I will, everyone mad about it seem to glaze over framework explicitly stating that PC's are already modular and that this is more a deal with AMD to show off their new APU than anything. I needed a new desktop, am somewhat interested in self-hosting LLM's, and already like the company and I didn't want to spend out the ass to scrounge for hardware so this fits my need perfectly.

If you're interested, the Framework sir said on stage (iirc) that this was due to not enough bandwidth/signal integrity with SODIMMs and LPCAMM2. They've worked with AMD people and they couldn't not bottleneck the iGPU and NPU with socketed memory. I think they should've put that somewhere on the product page, because it's a common concern.

I dicked with local AI for a weekend and came to two conclusions:
You really want a dedicated box for this to not bog down your system's resources while proompting shit. If you cared, this is the perfect local AI appliance.
I don't $2000+ care about local AI.
