the anti-porn laws are a system of control. If you look up countries where porn is illegal, they are usually poor, third world countries, often authoritarian. It is extremely useful to take a base impulse like sexual attraction, and criminalize it. It basically makes everyone a criminal, and you can put anyone you dont like in jail.
