They aren't, and the reality is that GPT5 has 100x more horsepower available to it than your single RTX 5090. Without some sort of unforeseeable sea change in local hardware, there just isn't a way for local models to catch up with what you buy online and what they censor, it'll always be neck and meck with something five years ago in real world application, like gimp to photoshop.
