To be fair, your average /g/tard is, at best, has some rote memorization of some shitty tardlang they learned at a coding bootcamp.
Of course streetshitter-tier morons like that are going to be replaced (assuming they were employed to begin with).

I think its such a huge coincidental boon to AI companies that we have both relatively high interest rates (compared to the last near 20 years of QE) and we just ramped down from a historically high period of software developer hiring because everybody was stuck inside consuming digital services.
Its helping AI companies point at things like this and say "See, AI is reducing the need for workers!" when the reality is that companies are mostly just being constrained by interest rates.

My STEM class (masters level) we have these written discussions, simple questions usually with open ended answers. I answered mine bluntly and matter of fact. I got 65% score for grammer and spelling errors. No marks for content. Like it was an english class or something. Meanwhile everyone is blantantly using AI to answer. I ran my answers through AI and reposted its wording of my answers and got 100%. I really dont know what Im expected to do other than using AI. You try to be human and not talk in that condescending ass drip voice of GPT and you get failing marks despite content.

Most people do not really have any ideological bent for or against AI and simply see it as a tool to accomplish tasks like excel or outlook. In fact your boss probably thinks your retarded for taking all the time and effort to handwrite things like emails and summaries that could be done by an AI in 3 seconds. There will come a time when your boss sits you down and asks why your work is so weird and different from everyone else's. Then he'll explain to you that the customer wants a "uniform, familiar experience" so either start using AI or your fired.

I've said it before. I actually work as an SMB IT provider. we had a lot of requests for AI during the hype. companies quickly realized it couldn't do things reliably and started dropping services. they came out the gate with too much hype.

LLMs are basically like doing ctrl-f on every book on Earth simultaneously. Would would using that be a bad thing? Are you afraid of reading?

Since you're so keen on doing everything yourself, why don't you solder your own motherboard before you write any code? Why don't you grow your own silicon boules?

Stupid

Honestly speaking, why do all AI fags not know how to write coherent sentences in english?
Are we supposed to believe you're intelligent enough to pass university if you can't even write a coherent sentence?
For God's fucking sake...
And I say this as english being my third language and having had no better teaching than kindergarten level during my study years.

>because everybody was stuck inside consuming digital services
Isn't it mindboggling that everyone and their mother started hiring like mad but at the same time we're led to believe that due to working from home, worker's have been less productive, with double the workforce?
There's something really scummy here that no one's speaking about, because during pandemic all videogames in production went into production hell and basically blackholed all those years, while at the same time gacha and fortnight started pumping content every week like there's no end in sight, both cases having the workers work from home, this just doesn't make sense.

It definitely has a use case in coding boilerplate shit that fits within the context window. In those cases it's great and there is a huge commercial market. It's also good for tons of office wagie tasks, so I think Microsoft is gonna do extremely well with copilot and integrating it into their shit.

But yeah, giving every retard access to a 1.8 trillion parameter model was obviously extremely unprofitable and it's no surprise that (((they))) are now neutering that service.
