Bullshit. I used XP back in the day (in my 20s, mind you) and use Win11 quite a bit today (although I've been mainly Linux for a while now just because that's what I'm used to).
XP had all sorts of problems and crashed often. I haven't had a single crash on Win11, and meanwhile there is a much nicer CLI ecosystem now than existed back in the day.

I defend Windows quite a bit around here but Linux is far from unusable. I've been using it primarily for a decade and a half, as a matter of fact. It's been very solid for me.
But there is a learning curve, and not everyone has the time or patience for that. I see no shame using Windows if you know your way around that well.
