Means of transportation that are hard to track unlike nu-cars? Bonus points if can't explode and burn you to death while you can't escape.

EV = metal fire
in many places firefighters dont even have the means to extinguish the flames so all they do is secure the area and look busy

every car does if you dont have armored glass installed
also theres supposed to be a security feature where you can fold the top part of the door onto the lower half
with your bare hands btw.
its there to make extracting our broken body easier in case of accident
it doestn take much strength
if you can break the windows, if you brace yourselve inside the car you should be able to bend the door from the inside
brace with your back and use your legs
push against the top of the door

Tesla puts their mechanical release into a fairly obscure spot that most people don't even know about
Several people burned to death because they assumed - quite understandably - that their door handles would work as normal

It's unmarked and, ordinarily, unused.
When you've just hit a tree, your car is burning and you're panicking, you're not going to find it if you didn't know of it beforehand
Picrel is the rear door btw
All because Elon decided that having door handles is for plebs and everything needs to open with a fucking button

It's so obviously a release handle that my mother keeps using it to open the door instead of the button.
People have managed to chip/break passenger door windows because of retard passengers using it and then opening the door fast. The normal button gives the window time to retract below the trim, but the release doesn't for safety reasons.
The rear release is kinda retarded though, see picrel

I mean I get that, but still, you'd need to damage both front doors beyond opening capacity to even make this argument relevant.

Huh? How is is trivial? Gas cars literally explode when they're on fire, causing not just damage to the people inside the car but anyone within couple hundred feet of the explosion. They're extremely dangerous

Gas cars literally just explode and kill everyone in reach. And these happen at the rate of 1000X of electric vehicles. They aren't trivial.

An explosion like that is possible, but immensely rare. A regular fire can be put out in a matter of minutes
A battery fire can burn for days, releasing extremely toxic fumes the whole time - your only hope of containing it is submerging the entire car, and even then the battery will likely spontaneously reignite the moment you pull it out

What do you mean rare? The gas cars catch on fire at 1000X the rate of EV cars. They happen every single day in the US. And the gas explosion isn't just limited to personal cars or trucks, the whole logistic chain is explosives. From the fuel tankers to the gas fueling stations to the cars to the oil drill sites.

And the figure from the US is 300K gas cars catch fire each year. Thats nearly 800+ gas car fires every single day.
