"good" products are unnecessary. solved problems are the enemy of saas cycles.
it's not that they don't know how to create accessible ui rectangles for like 20 years now. pic related would be better in bright sunlight and overall less distracting than a refraction shader sludge, but it's boring, so 2016, safe color ratios like some kind of committee (communist) design... need to fuck with it to make it possible to make it "good" again.
from usability it doesn't even have to work well at all, it can just even be broken and slow in production forever, see microsoft windows 11, teams, whiteboard, good application software doesn't really matter in current year, no one would be hyped about the adobe reader becoming better...
