Is Inkscape alright at anything typography related?
I'd like to use it for booklets. Does it render text correctly? What are its main issues in this application?

I've seen smaller agencies work with Corel Draw to make booklets and shouldn't Inkscape have a similar functionality?

it works but you can never import files from another program without it messing up text format and other things.
and exported pdf turns out shit all the time. have to find the one single export setting that kinda works. at least in old versions.

Scribus has the exact same problem but it's even worse because their devs just say that all other programs are doing formatting wrong and they do it the RIGHT way completely ignoring the fact that their shit program literally eats parts of the imported data without telling the author about it. So in the end you end up with missing parts.
