The worst part of the fappening is that all the content was sourced from easily hackable accounts. You could literally grab anyone's pictures and videos from Apple and Snapchat, and not just celebrities. The fappening exposed the exploit and companies patched it and there hasn't been as big of a discovery since.

Funnily enough they originally had her wearing white shirt and underwear but the water made it go see through eventually which they thought was taking away from the horror aspect, then they tried darker clothes but it didn't have the same pain appeal, but they weren't trying to make it sexy at all. From that perspective, it does make a lot more sense. Being completely naked works for both the physical torture of it as well as the psychological humiliation. Totally valid reasoning there. However, plenty of people are also horny degenerates (including me), so seeing an attractive naked woman in peril makes this one of my all time favorites.
