>>29046276>>29045477this show (jeopardy) is the peak of gameshow intellectualism in america:
the majority of gameshows are pure luck with zero skill (price is right, wheel of fortune, family feud)
very very very few gameshows actually require knowledge of some small amount of trivia limited strictly to american culture or experience (millionaire)
rather than have any gameshow requiring expert knowledge, critical thinking or problem solving, americans decided that the most that they could ask of their contestants was to still answer simple heavily americanised trivia, but to try to trick them with a simon says playground game at the same time.
of course the 'concept' of reversing the traditional question and answer role (jeopardy's alleged premise) is farcical, in the video demonstrated above, we are led to believe that in a normal gameshow, the host might ask 'what is a frog' and the contestant would be required to answer: 'During the second plague these amphibians came out of the water'. not only is it utterly absurd (a question and answer are OF COURSE not defined simply by how they are phrased) but it also wouldn't even make sense to structure an answer in that grammatical fashion.
tldr: americans are the stupidest people on the planet.
