The main issue is that a lot of bikers only have a basic understanding of what they are driving. It's way too easy to get a license and most drivers don't improve beyond that basic skillpoint. I can list countless bikers who have never even forced ABS on their bike so they don't even know how it's gonna feel when they have to slam the brakes in an emergency. The type of bike matters a lot too. These lightweight crotch rockets have terrible stability, braking power and manoeuvrability compared to a heavier but slower bike. I practiced every sort of manoeuvre during my 20's and I went to a lot added training to improve further. It's true that coffin drivers are often blind towards bikers (there's a science behind that even) and you have to pay full attention at all times. Something I love about riding bikes compared to the boring experience in a car. The point being, if you don't properly engage skilfully with your bike and drive it around like a casual tard speeding everywhere, you're getting wrecked.
