I'm kind of picky. I don't hate anime as a whole but the faces in that they're uniquely featureless or lack unique features. When I look at anime characters at all for the most part you can change the eye color and hair style and you have the same character indistinguishable from any other male or female character for the most part. And that if you pay attention to any anime styled art no matter how well rendered because the faces are so featureless any attempt at shading because incredibly simple and lacks detail because there's nothing to add detail to. Lips are almost always lines , noses are these little bumps in the middle of the face. I mean it's just big eyes. Eye's get the most detail because it's the only clear feature there is. Lots of reflective light and shadows and strange little details and in some anime the pupils themselves are a heart or a clover or a skull etc.
I know of Nikke. Maybe it's my autism towards anime faces, or other issues I have with anime but it doesn't quite hit the mark. At the risk of sounding like a pedo Gunslinger Girl or Black Lagoon is more appealing. I'd like a game where cute anime girls had to run specific missions. A 3rd person Ready or Not with cute tactical girls anime or not would be right up my alley.
