First three webms courtesy of a talented anon from the previous threads. They're his original WIPs and practice anims made during the prevoous couple threads.

From the advice of other anons, I'm planning on making a thread for /aco/ later, but I need more webms/mp4s without audio, first. If anyone is here from previous threads, start looking in /aco/ for future threads (unless it doesn't work there for some reason). I'm doubting that keeping a thread here and there going simultaneously is allowed by the rules, so maybe the other one could be for learning, while this could just be for posting stuff and maybe linking to the other thread for anyone who'd be interested.

Having threads covering the same topic on multiple boards is allowed, so long as the subject matter is relevant to the board. For example, one could have two threads about, idk, the latest marvel slop on both /co/ and /tv/. I do like your idea of using a /gif/ thread for dumping and /aco/ for learning, I just wouldn't put a link to the /aco/ thread from here though. /aco/ is a good board and this one is full of spammers, you don't want cross contamination.

Okay. I think I was hetting confused with the rule of not starting multiple threads on the same board.

So far, I've done two or three precious threads of this in the past week and I've only seen two "Hi, I'm sexygirl69 and I'm 21yo, plz message me on this other site xoxo" spam bots and zero actual spamming users. And also only two "hecklers" appearing. Everyone else would just either post a vid to bump the thread or express interest in getting into animation, or getting back into it. But, none of the threads have been super popular, so far. Hell, they seem less popular than the Beast only threads, even after those suffered from the 5-page limit.
So, thag's why I figured it might be a good idea to cross link from here to there, since we'd likely only have those genuinely interested coming over. Like, this thread would be the place where people just post vids to jerk off and bump the thread, while also acting as advertisement for the real thing and kind of a recruitment page to generate interest, while the other one would be where people actually work on stuff and talk about the prosuction, like a Discord server but without most of the issues or the need to sign up in any way. But, that assumes the other thread would even look like that, so it may be too optimistic and idealistic.

Ultimately it's your call, I'm just trying to give you advice on what I've seen over a number of years: this board has SIGNIFICANTLY more bad actors, i.e. trolls and the like, who infest basically the entire catalog 24/7. Whereas, on the other board, there's nowhere near as many, and they're usually contained to only a few threads at most. This general thread has been fortunate so far, but once a /gif/ troll decides to latch on, getting rid of them is like trying to get rid of a bad smell.
