these confrontations are always set up (scripted with a bit of improv) to create a storyline for later in the ring. prior to everyone crowding round with cameras rolling, the promotors should have actually explained how this works to jackson and informed stu that jackson wasn't a typical "worker". but after talking it through, shaking hands, agreeing that jackson would throw stu in the ring as part of the storyline, that should have been it. at this point we know that jackson has serious issues with emotional regulation, planned the assault live on stream, legitimately didn't consider possible consequences (see his reaction in attached vid... heavy breathing, "my bad", then runs away), but other than the camera operator it's not clear exactly who else knew or encouraged it.
