Unfortunately for these idiots, when the website operates in the UK. It has to abide by those laws.
And mocking the UK government and asking Trump to step in to get them to change the way they implement laws.... well the UK government will be in power for longer than Trump as the US has their Presidential election before the UK has their general election to determine who runs the country. So all this is doing is kicking the can down the road and pissing off people who will inevitably follow through and restrict access to 4chan if they don't comply.
It makes me wonder if 4chan is so unprofitable now that they couldn't operate if they had to abide by these rules.
It makes sense, i see too many notices for "your advert here" and the site in general is pretty dead.
