I always thought that but I read some sources saying they just took the Spanish names because they were forced to and didn't actually intermix that much, and I'm flip and sure enough a family member did a DNA test and it was like 1% Spanish and 15% Chinese and the rest indigenous filipino islander

I've never experienced that, she's always loving and respectful and caring and understanding.
