Different anon here. I do this:
>Be so lazy you don't make food
It doesn't really work for me. Precisely, I eat nothing but this once a day in the morning:
• 1 scoop nutricost unflavored whey protein powder [120 kcal / 33g / 25g protein]
• 1 scoop sports research collagen peptides [40 kcal / 16g / 11g collagen]
• 1 tablespoon psyllium husk powder [fiber]
• Minimum volume of skim milk to dissolve everything
At best, I barely lose a pound per week. I can make the scale say 2 but it's just dehydration. I don't cheat. I don't snack. Occasionally I substitute 2 or 3 eggs/day instead of the above slurry — eating any real food at all is rarer all the time for me though.
My TDEE is limited by major injuries awaiting rehab but I do move some. Weightlifting at home with my bench etc. is largely off the table for now — just dumbbells. I sleep off any energy and hunger issues, though the latter are basically gone because of how long I've been in a fasting-like CR. I don't currently remember the last time I actually enjoyed food outside of youtube (the restaurant fallow is a good follow) and cooking for others. Still fat, just less fat. A thermodynamic curiosity for the annals of fatboy studies.
Point is, discipline doesn't always pay dividends. You can be little more than a few bad dice rolls away from a healthy athlete to whatever the hell I am presently. The typical fatty also has no resolve to bruteforce their issues, so if anything goes wrong they're powerless to intervene. Giving up on real food isn't in the cards for the vast majority.
