Jeez. This one was a roller coaster. I'll give you credit, Anon. I'm pretty quick to call NTRslop generic, but this one mildly impressed me. I didn't like it, mind you, but the premise was at least original. Would I say it had a good ending? Again, good enough. The heroine's life won't probably ever be quite the same, but she entered the abyss and came out and fixed her life. As for the husband, well, he can only get away with that schtick for so long. Problem with "good writing" NTR is that it loses its magic when you explain it too much. Too many NTR writers come up with complicated setups that end up creating ridiculous circumstances and/or stupid characters in their attempts to explain how it all happened. This is ironically why a lot of couples who experience infidelity end up staying together, because the person who got cheated on often obsessively combs through all the details and makes up a cope story that only really makes sense to themselves.
Good NTR stories are ones where the setup is just believable enough to grab the reader and then keep their interest about what the final confrontation is going to be like.
