There was an electric phoenix boss I think, also a whale for water, and a minotaur for fire, and something else
Certain events in the text screens could give you health, damage you, or otherwise change your stats, with % ratings of success for each choice you make

Some of the events -
The first one was a campsite that you could choose to steal from - You could keep stealing from it multiple times with increasing % for failure, and if you got a bad roll the campers would rape your girl character
A clown offers you a coin flip
You find a dog on a battlefield that can eventually turn into a helper card for the RPG battling if you play the game right
You could step into water that heals you
You could find items in certain locations

- soul items stack only to 99, meaning you either corrupt yourself or waste a time slot going back and converting your loot to SL
- character progress is limited by story progress
- and most important of all: the game had an update two years after initial release in which they fixed none of these things.

What you can also do is install it on a different device, and take all the files installed by the RTP and paste them into a game folder. What I meant by lower than 0 was I took the edited the save file which had the breast option set to 0 and changed it to -10 and when I launched the game it crashed. With CE I did the old "scan > value increased scan > value decreased scan" trick until I got 3 values which seemed to be changing with the breast slider. desu with you the way I do it is just leveling up man (since he can grab female natives to knock them out and have a R scene with them) then you can take them back to your camp and force them to your side with a cage and some food they like (berries are the fastest way to gain loyalty) then give them weapons they can wield (you can make swords from the flesh table you get the blueprint for after killing the native boss I think). Once you've got a small harem you can make them do stuff from defending to gathering supplies provided you build the stuff they need to store their items. I never really used walls but they can totally be useful (especially if you set some in your harem that guard to also auto-repair). You can make spike traps in choke points to make life easier for your guards. I usually had like 2 - 3 guards at each entrance and the kids were workers. Make sure the spot you pick is big or has like mountains if you dont want to bother with too many walls.

Well, I exaggerate, the total is like 7 h-scenes with Colden. The scenes are all short, and the 7th is just reuses CGs of the prior three scenes. My issue--which is also a very positive thing--is that Asylum is a rpg first, a story second, and an eroge third. Thus, the "fap hours to gameplay hours" ratio is insanely low. I'm spending 2-3 hrs a night to bust a nut, I don't have much time to do it before the scene ends, and I can't even edge in between because there's a real-ass game to play.
