Kinda weird how my collection went from paper to digital, I got so much more... but then I don't know what I have that other people have seen, so it's like I have less in common. Have people read Junkland? There was anime made of it, so it must've been popular, but I do not know.

Those scenes were only put in to help sales, but they're *so* good that those shows became famous for those scenes instead of the rest of the show, likely to the creators great chagrin, and set a bar that most h-shows still don't reach.

I've got Bondage Fairies and I think a volume of Secret Plot Deep. A lot of my collection is in Japanese, I had a Comiket guy for a while. IIRC Bondage Fairies Extreme's got damage to the catalog page.

Third, the economy was in a fucking shambles and most of those series were getting by on cutting corners. It was a very weird niche product with several things hitting that niche at the time, and the entire premise would have made it slow and expensive to produce. By the time OVA negotiations were done and funded, it'd be in sniffing range of Bible Black coming out and stealing its thunder.
