Unrelated to that game specifically but more about the fetish as a whole, these stories are capped in length by nature. What makes NTS exciting is the continual pushing of boundaries, finally seeing your wife do X, Y, Z with another man. Once she's done those things, doing them again lacks the impact. Also, the longer it goes the more it feels like it's degrading the couple's relationship, which also works against the fetish.

IMO doing it slow and steady is the best approach. Space it out, make every little milestone hit hard, and then end when the story has reached the crescendo.

I would say that's a creative hardcap more than a genre-specific thing. There are many more steps to NTS than merely "kiss, suck, fuck, and done" corruption arcs. But again, it depends on what stakes the story had set up from the start. The most glaring example is when the couple acts solely as a one-dimensional propeller for NTS, where you can't experiment with any themes beyond its low ceiling when the character's psychology is as deep as a puddle and boundaries are reduced to that same cookie cutter corruption.
